A historic first step for research on Artemisia. 140 experts from 29 countries – physicians, biologists, veterinarians and agronomists – gathered for the first-ever international scientific symposium dedicated to the Artemisia plant.
Venue
The ACER Centre at Aga Khan University in Tanzania is an ideal hub for researchers. The center boasts a rich environment with volcanic soils, making it an excellent location for agricultural trials and botanical research.
Researchers found themselves in an inspiring environment where collaborative opportunities abound, both with local experts and the global research community working on One Health solutions.
Visit of Artemisia annua cultivations at AKU-ACER, followed by opening plenary sessions presenting the state of Artemisia research worldwide.
Parallel oral sessions on Human Health, Animal Health, Environmental Health, and Field Practice & Figures. Poster sessions and networking.
Working group workshops, collaborative project planning, closing ceremony, and announcement of the 2nd International Symposium.
